James Where It All Began 🛠️ Back in 2017, I was a full-time teacher looking for a creative outlet. Puppetry had always fascinated me, and one day, I decided to try making my own puppet. That first attempt wasn’t exactly a masterpiece, but it sparked something in me—a realization that quality puppets were either way too expensive or just plain bad. That’s when Pubbets was born. I wanted to create TV-quality puppets at an affordable price, making puppetry accessible to more people around the world. Our First Big Step: The Jasper Puppet (2018) 🚀 With no clue where to start, I turned to Indiegogo and launched my first-ever puppet: Jasper. We only made 50 Jaspers, hand-crafted in a small tailor shop in Hoi An, Vietnam—and I even helped stitch them myself! That little campaign proved there were so many people out there who loved puppetry as much as I did.
